Overview

This type of per-incident-support services will enable eligible partners currently enrolled in VMware Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program to receive support from VMware for hardware certification or hardware enablement issues with VMware vSphere ESX/ESXi server 4.x to speed up product development and testing.

Currently, this service is required and available only for TAP Select level server/OEM vendors and storage array vendors as specified in VMware Server Certification Program Guide and VMware Storage Certification Program Guide (all available on VMware Partner Central).

Please note the following restrictions:

  • To purchase this service, the partner has to be a current member of TAP program.
  • Per incident support service is non-refundable.
  • It is valid for one year after purchase and does not include VMware product updates or upgrades.
  • An incident cannot be credited back or refunded even if the issue was resolved without help from technical support engineer (for example: finding the answer in the product documentation, Knowledge Base or on your own).
