Development Support – Technical Support

The Development Support level provides Ecosystems Services partners with access to experienced VMware resources to help bolster Partner's team's development, accelerate Partner's software development cycle, eliminate risk, and ensure project success. Support includes troubleshooting of technical issues for supported SDKs, and APIs by Domain Specific Experts. Depending on the technical issue and availability, sample code may also be provided. Partners are required to be enrolled in one or more of the Ecosystem Services PEPA Program Categories and should have signed the Subscription Based SOW in order to take advantage of this Support Option. The benefit to Partners is that they no longer need to spend valuable engineering resources in trying to resolve issues on their own. Using this level of support, allows Partners to incorporate the knowledge of VMware engineering experts into resolving unforeseen problems.

Please note the following restrictions:

  • Only partners in the VMware’s Ecosystems Services programs who have fully executed a Statement of Work (SOW) to the Platform Extensibility Program Agreement (PEPA) can purchase this SKU.
  • It is valid for a year from the effective date of the services agreement and does not include VMware product updates or upgrades.
  • This service fee is non-refundable. It cannot be credited back or refunded or rolled over to the next year.

Equivalency and Compatibility Request

Equivalency and Compatibility Request

This service will enable eligible partners currently enrolled in VMware Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program Elite members and above to submit the Equivalency and Compatibility Request form, in accordance with the VMware Equivalency and Compatibility Guide.

For qualified programs:Once VMware confirms that the partner has successfully completed the certification testing, VMware will list the product in the online VMware Compatibility Guide.

Currently, this service is required and available only for TAP Elite level server/OEM vendors and storage array vendors as specified in VMware Equivalency and Compatibility Guide (available on VMware Partner Central).

EUC Integration Program Subscription

VMware’s End User Computing (EUC) Integration program provides certifications for Turnkey Appliances, storage and VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) solutions. Incident Based Support

Incident Based Support

Incident Pack – Limited, Incident Based Technical Support (Pack of 3 incidents)

The Incident Pack support level enables Ecosystems Services partners to submit a limited number of incidents to the support team. Partners who are very close to product development completion and have very few unresolved technical issues before certification, can take advantage of this level of limited support. Support includes troubleshooting of technical issues for supported SDKs, and APIs. Partners are required to be enrolled in one or more of the Ecosystem Services PEPA Program Categories and should have signed the Subscription Based SOW in order to take advantage of this Support Option. This limited support option may not be the best fit for your development project. Consider the Development Support level before deciding on this option.
